According to “Sport Science” Nobody Kicks Harder than Mauricio “Shogun” Rua
12
Right Punch: Accelerates at 25 mph with 1169 lbs. of force behind it.
Right Kick: 2749 lbs. of force! That’s harder than UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, who was clocked at 2700 lbs. and the hardest strike ever recorded in the Sport Science lab.

this show is so retarded
why even post this?
why is it retarded
I think Jose Aldo would put up some nice numbers especially for his body weight
maybe in the lhw division.
I am sure Crocop, Barry or any of the K1 guys kick harder then Shogun.
remember…there is two parts to the equation…mass, and acceleration…The heavier the mass, the harder it is to accelerate, therefore there will be a point where mass gets in the way of force. Since the heavyweights' legs will be significantly heavier than shogun's, they will also be harder to get moving at higher speeds, not to say that it's impossible, but this might contribute to the divisions having similar exertions of force. Light heavyweights move with the speed of welterweights, but carry mass closer to the heavyweights. The LHW class might be the best weight to reach the peak potential of mass and speed exertion in tandem.
next time just say F=ma
Harder than anyone? Do you the mean on their show, or the entire world? Just being technical is all…lol
omg I can't even type properly..sheesh
maybe I should have watched first
WOW.
I'm so glad "Fight Science(tm)" was able to provide me with the complex physics education that my preschool couldn't!
I'M SO BLESSED.
too bad he didn'T utilize those leg kicks to his advantage.
